The latter is home to the Parc Floral de Paris, with fantastic playground facilities and an open-air concert venue, Paris' largest zoo, the Parc Zoologique de Paris, and a moated medieval castle, the Château de Vincennes. At Paris' edges are two rambling forests, Bois de Boulogne in the west, and Bois de Vincennes in the east. Other Parisian parks with puppet shows include Parc Monceau, Parc Montsouris, and, by the Eiffel Tower, Parc du Champ de Mars. Delightfully old-fashioned activities include prodding 1920s sailboats on its octagonal pond, riding ponies or its carousel, and catching a marionette show at its theater. Paris' most enchanting park is the 23-hectare, chestnut-shaded Jardin du Luxembourg, which Napoléon dedicated to the city's children. The best in town are at the Marche aux puces de Saint-Ouen where you’ll find hundreds of places to browse for a bargain. The covered walkways of Paris streets are so charming, stroll the arcades of the Palais Royale and the rue de Rivoli for a memorable wander. For example at Angelina’s with its lovely Belle Epoque decor and they serve delicious chocolat. Relax at a CafeĮnjoy your drink and food and a good book or magazine. There are loads to choose from, don’t miss some of the less known museum of Paris, like Musée Galliera (fashion), Musée de la Mode et du Costume (fashion), Musée de Montmartre (arts) and La Maison du Victor Hugo.
